I am investigating how vascular epiphyte communities vary across vertical and elevational gradients, and under different restoration strategies, using both mechanistic modelling and fieldwork in the Brazilian Atlantic Forest.

Other research topics include land-use change impacts on tropical forest bird communities and soundscapes, with fieldwork conducted in Malaysian Borneo.
