An evolutionary biologist by training, in recent years I have turned to the aspect of research that excites me the most: software development. At BIOB, I support members and collaborators of the AG Sarmento Cabral with the development of eco-evolutionary models, data analysis, the set-up of in-silico experiments, and I maintain the software produced by the lab. I'm always excited to discuss ways to improve reproducibility in research and facilitate the uptake of programming by researchers.
I also maintain an active interest in all areas of research that seek to explore and explain the diversity of life on Earth, past and present.
