Forschungsprofil
I'm a PhD student working on the systematics, molecular phylogeny, and biogeography of Parodia (Cactaceae), with a particular focus on the Parodia ottonis species complex in Brazil. My research integrates molecular phylogenetics, phylogeography, species distribution modeling, and climatic data to investigate patterns of diversification, historical range dynamics, and the impacts of future climate change on species distributions. My work aims to contribute to the understanding of evolutionary processes in South American cacti and to support conservation strategies for endemic and threatened species.
