Forschungsprofil
I research how the epiphyte syndrome and fine-scale microenvironments shape Neotropical orchids’ niches, focusing on characterizing epiphyte habitats and integrating these data with phylogenetic information. I am also deeply interested in orchid systematics and taxonomy, using ecological and evolutionary perspectives to refine species limits, clarify relationships, and explore patterns of diversification.
